Was in India in January 2002, and found some notes taken after trying this beer. I had been there 3 weeks, and had no beer other than Kingfisher, and no beef. Had this while enjoying a steak... sitting in a beach restaurant between Madras and Pondicherry... hopefully the sensory deprivation didn't skew my review too much.
A clear gold beer, with a good amount of spicy hops. Very flavorful compared to Kingfisher. Very strong. Goes well with spicy beef!

An exceptional brew, strong and highly hopped with the fine Saaz variety. This calmed many anxious evenings after long and very harrowing road trips while in India. Not sure of availability in the US, but when in the subcontinent...
