Copenhagen 18/6 2022. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup- An Elephant elegantly riding a bicycle (of all things) on the label.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable.Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a light scent citrus fruit. Sweet pale malts, rye bread, bit of caramel. Lemongrass and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intensewith a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Not horrible but quite generic. But I really do like the Elephant.

Vibrant aroma of mixed hops. Citrus and tropical.
The flavour is a poor representation of the smell. More akin to a hopped up grainy Euro Lager.
Sparkling and refreshing feel.
Reasonably okay with a curry.
