Reddish caramel with a white head and nice lacing. Sweet grainy nice marzen like smell and flavor to it and some simple hop bitterness in the finish. Decent, although not my favored style. Compared to their other beers, this is a very fine choice still.

This arrived as a bright copper color without much head. There's a minor amount of lace left behind.
The smell is mostly of caramel. Hop contents are minimal. The taste brings strong malts into the picture. Alcohol is somewhat apparent. The mouthfeel is smooth while the drinkability is pretty good.

On tap at the Brewpub last Sunday night. A 16oz pour in a german-style stange glass for $5.00.
Possesses a medium copper color; mostly clear throughout. Head was creamy and a touch off-white. Excellent lacing in the glass. Somewhat subtle nose of mild caramel malt and hop hints. Medium bodied while being smooth and easy on the palate. Decently malty all the way. Caramel notes and light sweetness are present. Quite low hop level, overall. Caramel/toffee aspect sticks long and hard in the throat. Could have more bready malt, but a decent bier none-the-less.
Prosit!

The beer was reddish brown with an off-white head. It was crystal clear.
The beer had an aroma of toasted malt, a little honey and lots of alcohol.
The taste was not bad, but the alcohol taste was a bit too prominent. Still, there was some nice sweetness (think caramel) a bit of raisin taste and some slightly roasted malt flavor.
The mouthfeel was nice and slightly thick. The drinkablity suffers a bit from the alcohol taste, but this was still an ok beer in my book!
