I had this on tap at Thirsty Bear in San Francisco, CA in Feb 2007. (Let me know if I'm wrong on that, because I could have misunderstood the bartender.) The color was very deep blackish-red. It had some head to it. It had a sweet roasty-chocolate-liquor aroma with some fruit hints. The taste was strongly of fruit, like raspberries picked too soon - bitter and strong with a bite of fermentation. It almost reminded me of a red wine. It had sort of a pungent and bitter aftertaste.

Pours a clear dark brown body, with a smallish beige head. Some dark roasty aromas, sweetness and a little spice. Flavour was very disappointing. No notable traits. Some spice and wheat flavour. A little dark fruit. Crisp and clean. Not one of their best.
