My server described the beer as being brewed with a large variety of grains that included wheat, oats, rye, and barley.
Poured a medium amber color with a thin but well-retained off-white head. Decent clarity thought not crystal clear.
Aroma included graininess, earthy hops, a small amount of sweetness, and a hint of spice.
Tastes included floral/earthy hops, a wheat-like grain character, moderately low level of grainy sweetness. Bitterness was moderate and seemed appropriate or a little low for the beer.
Medium to medium-full in body. Moderately carbonated.
I was a little rushed towards the end of the beer as my friend needed to get back to work. But I wouldn't have ordered a second one. Seemed a little to focused on the grainy flavors without a decent hop flavor in support. Clean fermentation, no defects. Just lacking what I felt to be an appropriate balance.
