Clear black colour with no head. Poor lacing.
Mild roast aroma with chocolate and a clean finish.
Nice, crisp roast flavour that dries out nicely. Very good.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. Crisp and dry.
A good dark lager with more flavour than most. Enjoyable.

This is a tasty, if somewhat simple and light, schwarzbier.
Extremely dark, almost essentially black, it has a medium, light brown head steadily diminishing to a thin top and lasting ring of foam.
The aroma is pleasant, if mild, mostly dark toast with hints of chocolate and coffee.
The taste is similar, mostly toasted grain and bread with light chocolate and coffee elements and a faint hint of licorice. It's on the lighter side for the style but still has good fullness and range of flavour. It's dry, smooth, and clean but light on complexity and depth. It's quite enjoyable and very drinkable.
