330 ml bottle from Kagoshima Airport (Japan).
Pours near black with a very good beige head. Spotty lacing.
Excellent aroma with a flavor that's almost as good. Lightly sweet with loads of malt flavor, good complexity and balance, and perfect harmony.
Overall: highly recommended.

This is a strange duck - largely based around sweet potatoes, and it was a tossup whether or not to call it a happoshu or a stout, but I'm going to reason the sweet potato is used here in the same respect that pumpkin is in a pumpkin ale. It carries off a classic stout appearance, which is a promising sign. Pitch black and a finger of tan head. Huge roasty aromas, with bitter coffee dominating. Hey...full on roasted malt flavour... this is good. Lots of coffee, dark chocolate and a bit of citrus at the end. Medium light body and carbonation. A damn good one for sure.
