Thanks to a friend/neighbor for bringing this back from the D.R. for me!
Pours a translucent orangeish amber with a thin, slowly vanishing off-white head that leaves some dotted lacing.
The smell is of caramel and some husk. Inoffensive and pretty clean.
The taste is of caramel, some husk and a vague hop presence that gives balance to the sweetness.
Light-bodied. Very smooth. Crisp.
Not a bad thirst-quencher with some caramelish taste that's not too sweet. Inoffensive and smooth. Very easy to drink and "sessionable" when looking for something easy, smooth and inoffensive. Better than the average macro lager, IMO.
