Smooth and very velvety. Dark roasted malts, flaked barley, and select hops are blended together to create this traditional Irish stout. Outstanding!

Pours very dark brown with an off white head of small bubbles. Head stuck around for awhile but eventually faded to a slight covering. Good lacing, some visible carbonation.

Smells of roasted malts, slight coffee, typical stout, nothing serious.

Tastes similiar, the roasted malts first, then a slight coffee at the end, a bit more potent than Guinness.

Mouthfeel was decent, too much carbonation and not too smooth. Thicker than Guinness but not unlike other stout.

All in all, not too bad, I'll definitely order this over a Guinness, but not fantastic.

L: Pours a brown-black color with hints of red at the bottom of the glass with a medium bodied but short tan colored head that laces the glass a bit on the way down.
S: Smells of sweet roasted malts, hints of chocolate and slight coffee/burnt malt aroma at the end.
T: Tastes of sweet roasted malt, some chocolate, caramel, a hint of a brown sugary sweetness followed by a slight coffee/burnt malt taste.
M: Very watery feeling and light on the tongue. It had a very light body to it.
D: Pretty drinkable since it was very light feeling and had a good mix of flavor, but it needed more.

This brew comes in a glass on nitro tap.
THe beer is cascading beautifully upon arrival and presents a creamy beige colored head. The brew itself is actually a dark brown color.
Aroma is some grassy hops mixed with mostly roasted malt hits and a lite coffee scent. First sip reveals a rich creamy body and lit rolling gentle carbonation. Flavor is lite chocolate mixed with roasted malt and a slight coffee bite on the finish. THe beer leave nice latticework as I drink.
The brew is well made and smooth. Very easy to drink and the bet I have had @ this SBC location.
