This beer arrives in an english pint glas and exudes a deep orange hue with light offwhite surface layer of head. Aroma is very appealing with cinnamon and nutmeg mixing with general pumpkin scents. Very reminiscient of Thanksgiving.
The drinking commences with lite carbonation and slightly lighter than expected body. Flavor actually starts with a quick hop bite mixing with some caramel and finally leading to a spicy finish of nutmeg and cinnamon that coats my mouth. The beer is crisp and tasty and goes down very smooth. Very enjoyable. SO far I have liked the fruit brews @ Branford's SBC more than other offerings. I just wish this one had a bit more of a malt backbone to increase the body and caramel flavors. I think that would make a better than average beer increase to a good one!
