Had several pints of this beer during a friends visit last weekend. The beer arrives in a pint glass cold with no head. Color is a rich mahogany hue with no carbonation visible. Aroma is rich brown sugar and caramel malt. No hints of hops on the nose. First sip reveals an average body and minimal carbonation. The texture is smooth and a little silky, easy drinking beer for 7.5%. Flavor is all malt with caramel and brown sugar mixed with a little bit of red grape, which could be from a little hint of booze. I found this beer to be interesting enough to session and enjoy over conversations. Not the best malty brew Ive had, but I enjoyed the pints during my visit. Pretty straightforward beer, no flaws that I detected from the pints I consumed.
