Appearance: Dark ruby tone nice sized creamy tan head leaves evenly rung lacing down my pint. Aroma: Nice deep chocolate and espesso strong coffee scent, consists of the dark roasts and soft oatmeal sweetness. Taste: Very nice dark roasted malt flavors here mix of chocolate coffee and the added oatmeal for balance to make the dark grains a bit smoother fine example all around of a great oatmeal stout. Mouthfeel: Medium body with the help of the oatmeal airy CO2/NO2 mix give it a nice creamy texture can't complain. Drinkability: Easily a session beer in my eyes great tasting good beer.

This is a very good example of an oatmeal stout. I attempted to homebrew an oatmeal stout this winter and it didn't come out very well. This beer is what I was targeting. Jet black with a nice light tan head. A roasted aroma is very noticeable. It has a nice smooth roasty flavor, with out being overly sharp. Smooth is the key word in this beer - in the flavor and mouthfeel. Very drinkable.
