Appearance: Caramel amber brown the white two finger sized leaves some fine belgian style lacing down my snifter. Aroma: Sweet candi sugar evident some apple and raisins esters formed with a warming breadiness from the authentic yeast strain and Belgian malts with a touch of gentle hops. Taste: Candi sweet toned down some the apple tartness is slight but the rich raisin flavor works very well here, subtly spicy really nice brewpub dubbel in my opinion. Drinkability: Medium bodied nice soft carbonation. Drinkability: A very nice representation of a Belgian style ale, now it's no Allagash or Unibroue but it's a start.
