Appearance: Dark caramel brown distorts in the manner of blending a porter and stout together I'm saying it's more of a porter. Forms a big cream hued head leaves behind speckled lacing. Aroma: Dark toasted malts mellow Amarillo hops some herbal grassy notes not bad dough chocolate pleasant mix fromt the dark roasts. Taste: Light chocolate toffee with doughy bread character, the Amarillo hop is used strategically here giving a slight citrus pine note to the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied very mellow soft carbonation not bad at all. Drinkability: They are calling it a porter stout I'm just saying it's a good dark ale using one of my favorite hops, enough said.
