just a few points. %abv has dropped to 4.9%. most likely due to excise so that the price could stay the same. also, name on the bottle is now just "brown ale".
still a good, easy drinking brew. a bit thin on mouthfeel, but dont think much else has changed.
deep reddish-brown color. forms a large, tightly packed head that settles down nicely half way through the glass.
sweet flowery, honey aroma. very appetising, reminds me of peanut brittle.
dark chocolate and nutty flavors. swirling some around (dont know why i did it) gives some alcohol taste to it though its listed at only 5.2% abv.
could have had a bit more body, but nice soothing, before bedtime beer.
