Don't think this one is called Ned Kelly's anymore. It was listed as Irish Red but I think it's the same beer as the one reviewed by Rartaman.
Poured dark amber with a small firm creamy head. Effervescence was non-existent. Smells of fruit, nuts and sweet malt. Medium mouthfeel and very smooth.
I'm normally not a fan of ales (except for hefe weissen) but I really enjoyed this beer. It had a kind of dry aftertaste on the back of the tongue which I suspect comes from Hallertauer flavouring hops.

Honeyed, which seemed to be a common theme with Cheers Tavern beers. Nutty, cereally malts, lightly sweet, and failry well balanced, quite drinkable, if nothing special. Another fairly tasty beer from this brewer, but once again nothing challenging, not bad though.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
