330ml bottle poured into tulip glass

L - golden, slightly hazy, pours thin white head that dissipates quickly

S - fairly modest aroma for a wit - some bubblegum, pepper, mandarin

T - taste is much more full on - huge rush of tropical fruity flavours - pineapple, mandarin - with a yeasty wheat backdrop. There is a slightly spicy (white pepper, clove) and tangy orange finish.

F - low carbonation, moderate bodied, slick texture

O - taste is the highlight - very fruity, would be a great drink in tropical climates. Maybe be a bit overpowering for some.

Very sweet, very thick, very spicy, quite yeasty.
Oddity, almost tastes like thick lemonade/ginger beer.

Pours gold with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows ginger, doughy wheat, orange zest.
Very zesty flavours, lots of citrus. Some wheat. A little too sweet.

Latest release in the Brew Pub series

A - Pours perhaps a little on the copper side and looks more like a Hefe than a traditional wit. The head reduces quickly.

S - Kind of sickly aroma of burnt sugar and some spice.

T - Sickly sweet again on the flavour, with white pepper and an aniseed like flavour.

M - Light to medium body with medium carbonation

O - I'm really not sure what an Imperial Wit should taste like as it is not an official style and not brewed all that much. That just leaves instinct. I really didn't enjoy this at all. The yeast used just doesn't fit the style, the mouth feel is a bit thick, and the aniseed like flavour is a put off. Not the best effort from Feral
