Can from 4-pack purchased at Bottle Mart, Port Douglas, Australia.
Fruity, citrusy, a bit pulpy, and certainly hoppy. Malt base hints at wheat in addition to 2-row. Pleasant drinking with decent enough balance, but I can't say it's as pungently hoppy as I'd hope for in an IPA.
Medium-bodied, smooth, wet, not unrefreshing, well carbonated.
I've certainly had worse in Australia, and this is easily one of the better IPAs I've found in wide distribution so far in the country, but comparisons to its global competition are not favorable (particularly on a price-adjusted basis). In short, it's solid fare but I can't say it's top tier.

The heavy floral hop scent hit you like a tonne of bricks, it definitely takes the second or third drink to truly appreciate the level of essence in this 6% alcohol volume beer that will catch up with you!

The NEIPA choices are predictably pretty scarce in Port Douglas AUS, but this one does hit the mark. Only criticisms are that it is not very floral and it does not generate a nice full lacy head. But there is a nice Juicy punch with a soft mouth feel. It goes done very easily this close to the equator!

Look: Bright orange haziness, thick 2-3 finger white head with good retention. Looks delicious
Smell: Smells like a delicious breakfast juice. Lots of strong citrus and tropical fruit smells, getting that acidic sourness from the citrus, and an undertone of light biscuit malt. Definitely smells juicy.
Taste: It's not as 'juicy' as the nose suggests, but still get a good punch of tropical fruit. Nice lingering bitterness to the beer. Sweeter than I was anticipating but well balanced.
Feel: Good carbonation. Medium body, quite refreshing. It hides the 6% alcohol well, and there's little no no alcohol flavour in the beer. If it is it's masked in the bitterness.
Overall: A solid beer. Feral brewing make some decent beers, and this is an easy drinking IPA. Good flavour, good balance between taste, sweetness and bitterness. Would drink again, and more on the regular if it was a bit cheaper.

Drank this juicy but not that juicy, very hazy, with good head retention brew on the porch of my new home with Joel Hill. Overall a great brew, perhaps lacking freshness due to the long wait on a non refrigerated shelf in Thailand.
