A - Cloudy, coppery golden amber body. Slim dense white head fades to a film. Minimal lacing.

S - Citrusy hops, pine, spices and rye.

T - Sweet rye malt, grapefruit, spice and grain.

M - Full, slick body. Low carbonation.

O - Just brilliant, not quite the experience as at Baskerville but still has you gasping "What a beer!" Thanks IBS.

Found this on tap at the Great Northern. Very pleasant surprise.

Looked nice, a good strong golden colour with some haze, but clearish once the glass defrosted - yep, it was that cold.

Despite being cold, boom. Great presence on the nose. Heaps of citrus and grapefruit, and some really nice juicy fruit notes. Some malt detectable on the nose too. No rye that I noticed - but this is from memory here and by the time it was warm enough I kind of forgot about 'analysing' the beer and was just enjoying it.

Really lovely flavour. Well balanced between the hops and malt, and finishes bitter but with a touch of sweetness in there to balance. Maybe a little spice and graininess in there from the rye?

At times the sweetness caused the mouthfeel to be just slightly sticky, but this is a minor flaw.

I really enjoyed this beer. This is all from memory and with a big pub meal, so if I notice anything wrong here when im drinking my growler of it I'll update this...

Pours a pale clear amber hue which leaves a one finger head and sporadic lacing, the smell is honey, some spicy rye, grapefruit and piney citrus, the mouthfeel is medium bodied and silky smooth with tastes of orange rind, passionfruit, spicy rye, candy and finished with a nice mix of toffee and piney citrusy hops with a touch of pineapple and overall i like this brew and its very easy to knock back and i could drink all night cheers.
