Amber-brown colour with a frothy lasting head. Smell: some roasted malt and hops aromas. On tasting, only mild bitterness and roasted malt flavours. Lacking intensity. However, a creamy mouthfeel with good control of carbonation. Overall, a satisfactory but rather unexciting beer.

well, the first time i have entered a second, separate review vice editing a previous one. why? well, being the only person to review this beer previously, i figure it could use a boost in #s. also, its been nearly a year and a half since the first review, so i thought d give it the full treatment.
bottle conditioned, no bottle dating.
very coke-like in color and carbonation (the look not the feel). has that buby red tint when held to the light. massive tan head with good retention and leaves nice lacing on the glass.
burnt/roast aroma. almost acrid really. well, thats the only other word i could think of to describe it. still has a bit of softness that keeps it inviting.
good bit of chocolate and roasted malt like flavors. no real obvious hop flaovr or bitterness, though it is very balanced.
highly drinkable, which is what any mild should be i guess. the darker malts give it that soothing flavor and smooth mouthfeel. well done.
