Poured into a pint glass, the hefe is very clear, bright golden orange. Not sure how they can call it a hefe without any yeast in the bottle! There is a small, thin head that did not leave any lace. The aroma is sweet, fruit and honey, a touch of banana, no clove that I could tell, and a fairly assertive bit of fusal alcohol. The taste is much less complex. A bit of yeast and honey, and that odd [for the style] touch of alcohol. I couldn't really find the esters I look for in a hefe, maybe a bit of clove. Combined with a very thin mouthfeel, didn't really make this one to drinkable - well maybe frat party drinkable, but not damn that was good get me another!

Dilute and lacking, Workin’ Like a Dog is piss yellow color, and full of fine particulate mist. This is Woof’s least successful effort. It pours nearly headless with a frail yeasty aroma and a dull wheaty, grainy, yeasty flavor. The finish is dour. Even the name is strained.

Don’t look for flavor, pizzazz, body, or excitement; you won’t find it here.
