Pours a black color. 1/2 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of pale malt, sweet malt, slight alcohol, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of a Foreign / Export Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. The beer is noticeably thick, astringent, and slightly bitter; all good qualities in a Foreign / Export Stout. Tastes of slight roasted malt, pale malt, slight sweet malt, slight alcohol, and a hint of hop. Overall, good appearance, weak aroma, good feel, body, blend, and complexity.
