On tap at the brewpub in August 2008.
Poured a moderately dark chestnut brown with an off white head and a bit of sticky lacing as it made its way down the glass. Nose had a touch of light roast along with nice notes of caramel, toffee, and sweet malt. Perhaps a touch of chocolate. Taste was a bit more standard malt without some of the nuances of the nose that intrigued me. Mouthfeel was good with a medium body and decent carbonation levels. Not a bad offering at all. Enjoyed this place and will go back next time we are in Lawrence.

Pours dark brown in color, opaque except around the edges where light shines through. A thin light brown head forms and diminishes with poor retention leaving no lace behind.
Aroma is pretty nice. Rather malty. Cereal, biscuit, and caramel dominate.
The taste is quite nice. Notes of chocolate, caramel, cereal and a bit of nuttiness.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with ample carbonation.
Drinkability is fairly high. Nice flavor and presumeably low alcohol make for a great session and a really enjoyable beer.
