330 ml bottle, from Alcampo Gran Canaria. ABV is 4.8%. Pale golden colour, pours fizzy with a moderate white head of poor retention. Aroma of grassy hops. The flavour has a moderate malty sweetness and half-decent grassy hops. Drinkable and refreshing, but not much of a "pale ale".

Dorada, con un hilo espumoso inestable de poca retención. De cuerpo ligero y baja carbonatación. Aroma a lúpulo y cereales. En boca es algo plana pero bebible.

Looks good, refreshing, nice small bubbly head...
Aroma is crisp and hoppy, similar to a German pils...
Refreshing and malty, however it is ununique and tastes similar to other lager-pilsner-amber ales. Needs more hops!

From Hipercor. In Adnams glass. Playing Magic 2015. Although an ale, it tastes more like a lager, and not a bad one though, but nothing memorable either. Avg 2.97.
10 Jun 2018. In Teku glass. At lunch, with golden bacalao + russian salad from Calamocha. Adding light soapy and cleasing product notes doesnt add value over an standard industrial. No ale resemblance

Straw with a little carbonation, clean filtered and a finger of white head.
Aspirin, malts, skunk and cardboard.
Aspirin, malts, rust.
Light with a slightly drying finish, light foamy carbonation.
Why bother, don't know how this survived over a century. Found and drank in Chiang Mai, May 9th, 2015.

Tastes like water, far from a pale ale

330 ml. bottle, pours a golden colour with almost no head. Smell of hop and herbs and some skunky thing. Medium body, boring palate. Taste of malt and some caramel. So, smell of hops, taste like malts and it pretends a pale ale when it really looks a like a common lager and if it wasn't for the sweetness it would taste like a common lager. Confusing? Yes. And bad.

A pale golden colour with tinges of yellow and a tiny patch of white for a head. The beer is quite clear and has a few bubbles rising to the surface too.
There was some corn and grassy aromas once you really made an effort to notice them. Some basic malts made a brief appearance as well and the beer had a ever so slightly skunky aroma to it towards the end.
Some cheap malts and a little bit of malts had me thinking this was more of a pale lager than a pilsener. It was poor and pretty bland overall.
Bland on the palate with a slightly skunky feel and some grain in there too. There was a slightl tang to the drink but nothing much if I'm honest.
A rather awful excuse for a beer in my book and I definitely need some clarification on what style of beer this one is meant to be. It tastes, looks and almost smells like a pilsener or pale lager but it claims to be a pale ale so I'm confused. Either way it wasn't a good beer.
