Ambar IPA

Orange colour, iridescent. White foam, high, of medium persistence. Every now and then it circulates on the glass.
Aroma sweet, fruity (red orange) with light caramel and tea notes.
Taste for an IBU of 45 intensely bitter. The bitterness with an herbal character is quite long, slightly lingering.
Medium saturation. Body medium. Smooth texture. Aftertaste long, dry.

 

 

Cerveza de color ámbar, con un dedo de espuma de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación baja. Aroma afrutado con un poco de malta. En boca es ligeramente dulce con un retrogusto amargo.

Dark yellow-orange look. Head fades away fairly quickly. Smell is very good to hops but does not last a lot. Mouthfeel is fresh with the expected flavour of an IPA. I would recommend it for Spanish beer-lovers given the small scene for this style in Spain.

 

The brewery Ambar makes interesting products. The panorama of Spanish industrial beers is a disaster and Ambar is one of the best brewery. This ipa is rare, it is not a standard ipa, very sweet, with a more subtle and more subtle one. It's not a beer where you only taste bubble and bitterness. I like it.

 

 

 

From Carrefour. In Teku glass. At lunch, with bacalao dorado + chicken steaks. Oddly citrusy in both nose and mouth, artificial, like lemon-flavoured dishwasher detergent
