Had this at the Hops location in Pompano Beach, Fl.
Clear brown color with a very light colored, large bubbled head.
Sweet smelling. Fruity raisins and figs. Some malt, but not enough to classify as a brown ale, maybe an English style mild ale with the slight tang of minerals that I taste. Decent amount of grassy hops in here.
Not enough body and malts for me, but it is surprisingly quaffable. A basic tasting brew.

Another of Hops' specialty brews that takes the best of their red and brown ales to another style approach. This is a bit of an overdone flavor as the nice flavor of the nut brown is mitigated by the red bodied ale. Like the other Hops beers it is light on both head and lace appearance though the flavor and mouthfeel make an effort to entertain.
