Barcelona 24/8 2019. 50 cl from tap at King Pinchos Tapas, Carrer de Blai.
Pours dark brown with a medium sized light beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is very much on the dark and malty side. Caramel, dark roasted malts, dark chocolate. Light notes of bitter Coffee.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more moderate but notable bitterness. Sweetish aftertaste. Lingers for a while.
An overall decent Dunkel which went well with a solid set of Pinchos.

330ml bottle from Mini Mercado Conde Barao, Lisbon (€1.85):
Dark mahogany & opaque but plenty of visible carbonation & a 1cm, bubbly head on top. The nose is nutty & sweet with caramel & bread malts, some faint alcohol & light roasted notes. The taste is richer with caramel & toffee, some bread malts & slightly more of the alcohol too. It's a little strong but otherwise not bad with quite a nutty, boozy feel that's slightly warming towards the end.

I tried a bottle of this beer at Mirador Del Arco de Cuchilleros restaurant near the old town square in Madrid . It poured a clear dark amber with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had grain and wheat notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dark semi sweet malt base and subtle grain, wheat, and finishing hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

It looks like Guinness but with much more bubbles. The foam is darker. Smell of hops. Taste is of old beer. The mouthfeel is good. It reminds me to smoked beers like the ones in Bamberg. Taste is much better than the feel. It is rough to the mouth.

The beer is not as bad as the rest of the beers of this brand, which are inevitable, unsafe. This can be tasted. It does not cause stomachache. The subnom of beer puts "dark lager beer" How much ignorance of what a good beer Dunkel is!

Cerveza de color marrón oscuro con cabeza espumosa. Baja carbonatación y cuerpo ligero. Aroma a malta y caramelo. En boca destaca un sabor tostado, con notas de café y frutos rojos.

From Hipercor. In Bavaria hefe glass. At lunch, with macarroni bechamel + sardinas. Fairly decent dunkel, a bit metallic in the ending but pleasant, easily drinkable and with a nice taste
