Very clear, golden color with a tiny white head. Nose is hoppier than I expected. Taste is more hoppy than I expected too! Mild bitterness on backend.

My favorite of Onidensetsu's brews, the pale ale has a pretty special dried apricot deep orange color, with a cream-colored, milky head that drops to a centimeter or two that remains for the duration of the drink. Excellent lacing.
The smell is a light orange, with something that I experienced as somewhat nasty--but that I'll be willing to write off as a "unique" hoppy scent. I got the same impression drinking this beer on-tap as out of a bottle, so I will not place blame anywhere but on the beer itself.
The taste jives with the smell, a medium citrusy orange--with a very good hop finish. The robust bubbles also blended perfectly I thought with with the whole package--and bridged especially the taste in the mouth with the finish.
This is a good beer! Refreshing--but not too light. Highly drinkable.
