Half pint on cask at the similarly Eric Morecambe themed 'spoons in Morecambe. It has a light amber colour and white head and leaves considerable lacing. The nuose is muted, a hint of ornage and a hint of caramel or toffee. It starts with a rather bready flavour allied to the recurring hint of caramel or toffee. Then some orangey hops kick in before a slightly spicy finish. After a while a nice herbal bitterness lingers on my tongue. Good, but not sensational.
