a really nice coffee stout, heavy on the coffee but avoiding the mouthfeel pitfalls of a lot of coffee beers. its got basically no acidity to it, probably cold pressed coffee added, and it drinks really smooth and creamy from the nitro tap, a very cool format for this brew. i love that ska is getting some new beers out there, i love their regular lineup, but always nice to see a brewery keep progressing. the dark malts taste of chocolate and even licorice, and the coffee sort of pulls unique flavors out. i get some dark fruit in here too, like dried blueberry or something. so creamy from the nitro, all coffee in the finish. im sure i could get a pretty heavy caffeine rush from this one too. very good coffee beer, drier than most, seek it out if you like this sort of thing.
