A malty lager with an amber-brown color imparted by nutty, bread, toasty Munich and Vienna malts. With a clean, neutral yeast flavor–it’s all about the malt.

Really nice Vienna Style, not so much Marzen to my buds.
Nice dark malt taste. Less slippery and less sweet caramel than my other fave Vienna, Wibby Volksbier. This one is a bit lighter in texture and drier. Really crushable and with a clean finish. I like them both. More notes as I progress thru the 6'er

Handsome orangey amber brew with plenty of foam in the big Duvel tulip. Pleasant malt sweetness with a light caramel taste, and a little tang at the finish for balance. Toasted grain and a touch of brown sugar. Flavors are a little more robust than the typical Fest beer, and the hops come through nicely. Not very bitter, though. From the 12 oz can. Dated 11/19/2022.

Appearance: Pours a clear, deep orange to slight amber color with a mild white head. SRM of 14. (3.75)
Aroma: Mild aromas of brown bread, bread crust, toasted brown sugar and some caramel.
Flavor: Moderate flavors of brown bread, bread crust, some brown sugar and light spice. Lightly sweet.
Feel: Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, and some brown sugar sweetness lingers.
Compared to Lakes & Legends Oktoberfest 10/2022: Pours darker, Milder aromas. Darker and more caramel flavors. Less orange citrus. Similar sweetness and body.
Overall: A pretty muted Oktoberfest Marzen here. This one didn't impress me much. Caramel and brown bread and brown sugar flavors. Mild though. Vague and not one I'd go seeking out again. (3.52)

From a single 12 oz can into a mug. Thought this was really nice: nutty and a little toasted grain malts to go with the expected caramel, which thankfully wasn’t too heavy or sweet. Some fall orchard fruitiness. Floral hops in the background. Smooth mouthful, which seems a little strange for the style, but for whatever reason, it works for me. Still a modestly crisp finish. Nicely balanced, easy-going O-fest beer that is a little different without making a big deal about it. I think it is quite nice.

Clear and pure dark copper body; beautiful carbonation; thick and rich white head, dense and creamy in texture; patches and flecks of foam inside the glass. Soft malt nose, a bit nut-like, a bit toasted grain. Nice, mild malt taste; gentle sweetness with a touch of bitterness and roasted nut flavor. Medium body; crisp; light residual sugar presence; nice, low-key dry finish.
This is a nice Oktoberfest, mainly malty with a fine, balanced light hop presence. A little light in strength, but nicely rounded and easy to drink.
Poured at 44 °F; bottom of can data: BBD 11/27/21

12oz can poured into Duvel tulip. BBD 11/20/20 printed on bottom of can so this has another 2.5 months of freshness left in it.
Appearance - Clear amber-brown body. Medium offwhite head with decent retention, weak patchy stick and weak lacing. 4
Smell - Thin. Faintly nutty. 4
Taste - Smooth. The typical oktoberfest beer style but with some noticable, I want to say, vanilla. A little thin and light but that probably works for a beer you're supposed to have all day. I'm for it. 4
Mouthfeel - Smooth. Maybe a little too smooth? Which is dumb to say about a beer meant to be slurped in large quantities all day. But it has a distinct lack of bitterness. Maybe a thought from having this back to back with another more bitter oktoberfest beer. A little watery up front but finishes with this medium bodied quality which is really strange and not something I've really encountered before. Don't think I've ever come across a beer whose body seems to morph in that respect. I think it just opens up with the warmth in the mouth. 4.5
Overall - Very high drinkability. No off characters. A little boring but that's fine given the style and purpose. 4.5

This beer has great body and a nice clean crisp taste. The hops and the malts are perfectly balanced. The malts are nice and toasty and the hops present a slghtly spicy note. The mouthfeel is creamy and full. Finishes clean and would pair well with any cuisine. A marvelous beer.

From a twelve ounce aluminum can, this is a copper-amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is bready, malty, and smells like an Oktoberfest. The taste is just slightly sweet, with a nice malt flavor underneath. Medium-full in body. This is very satisfying.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, toffee and floral notes. Sweet toffee with toasted caramel and a nice bitterness.
