A relatively clear IPA with bright, juicy tropical fruit aromas and a bit of classic West Coast-style citrusy, piney bitterness.

Copenhagen 3/7 2024. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. White can with some checkering in black and an advertisement splash in green with the name and style of the beer.
Pours unclear, almost opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin, patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fresh odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with tart citrus fruit. Sweet peach and apricot. Tart grapefruit and lemon. Dry vibe.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Solid and appropriately bitter.

Bright, slightly hazy gold with crusty white rim of froth; grapefruit rind, dried pineapple, and dank on the nose; Saltines, Lemonhedz, pineapple juice, a touch of peach, and dirty, weedy end; dry, light, bitter.

El Dorado, Idaho 7, Strata, Azalea and Centennial
Oh, so Mountainy.
This nails, as well as any example, the old school dryness + bitterness married to juicy new school hops.
And great hop choices they are: El D candy hit strong throughout, Centennial is the drum, Strata is the bassline and I7 cleans up at end. Azalea seems new enough that there’s not much info. Clearly some design thinking went into this.
There’s not a huge amount of nuance, but there’s not meant to be. This is one to pound (though the ABV says otherwise.) And I happily would
A fun, innovative + relevant IPA.
Ska is all hits these days.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, mango, orange and peach with some sweet caramel. Nice tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Very hazy, yellow-orange, smell is all grass and pine. Taste is not too bitter or sweet, delivering on the hops front, but kinda thin and boring otherwise
Along the rim of the can:
"Uncertain - Bright - Recycle - Future - TNG - Unwritten - Recycle - ERA - Optimistic - Upbeat - Recycle"
No idea what that means, but I don't like it

12oz can poured into Teku glass. Picked up from grocery store as part of a $11 sixer mixer. BBD 07/10/2022 printed on bottom of can. So this is good for another 2 months exactly.
Appearance - Hazy gold body. Large white head with decent retention. Good, even lacing and stick. 5
Smell - Dank grassy hop and a bit of honey. No off-characters. 4.5
Taste - Bitter up front, but no harsh sharpness to it like you might expect. Mellows and rounds out without ever feeling harsh. Bold and even. But a little one-note and muted. Not a lot of complexity. The alcohol provides most of the punch but is rounded out nicely by the malt, so it doesn't taste boozy. Impressive. 5
Mouthfeel - Again, no off characters. Bold and smooth. 5
Overall - Extremely drinkable due to lack of any off characters. Probably pairs very nicely with a ton of different foods too, due to the lack of any harshness. Won't mask flavors or disturb the palate. One of the very best in style. 5
