Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival a dense sudsy 1 finger of head was present with amazing retention, partially thanks to the nucleotide points in the glass, but still, impressive. Nice fat lacing forms. Body is a clear darker brown amber.
Aroma is quite dry and almost makes me think altbier with a hint of crispness and general lightness. A touch of floral and earthy hop is present.
Taste again reminds me a bit of altbiers with an almost cold conditioned character. A light but present caramel nuttiness builds as the beer progresses. Light but nutty overall with an overarching floral amd earthy hop bitterness, very balanced and drinkable, but not as full as some may prefer.
Feel is dry upfront but full bodied throughout the finish. The head does make a return, making this a very soft, laid back sipper.
Overall this is a decent lazy afternoon/evening beer, but it's coming off as a bit light in flavor, arguably a bit hoppier than the malts present are asking for, but not necessarily unbalanced.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
