I swear I wasn't seeing orange, this really had a orange tinge to the head on it above the equal parts black and brown pour. Orange cream and roasted malt aroma.
Taste is a well balanced stout, with not too much orange creamsicle. Chocolate and orange, but not boozy like Gran Marinier. Good stuff.

Pours a very dark brown with lighter edges and a wispy haze of ivory foam. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, cream, and orange zest. Reminds me of chocolate oranges that my Mom buys me for Christmas. Very unique. Taste is similarly roasty, with more roasted malt, cream, chocolate, and crisp, citrusy orange peel that cuts through the malt nicely. Mouthfeel is smooth and fairly creamy, with a medium body and good carbonation. Really interesting beer, glad I got to try it.

A – Very black brew with deep reds… Nice light tan foamy head builds when tempted.
S – This brew is amazingly Orange. This beer smells like an orange grove… If Florida had a state beer, this would easily take the cake. Slight minty-ness is given off too…
T/M – WHOA! Orange! Very surprising! This beer takes your legs out from under you!!! Milky bottom to the brew, with outrageous orange peel flavor! Chocolate stands by as a decent idekick, but not as much as I would have liked. Slight over carbonation, but no heat or off flavors; just tons of orange!
O – A wonderful surprise. If this brew had been barrel aged, the vanilla flavors would have warmed into the orange wonderfully. This brew is far from a mess or fake. One of the most unique beers I’ve ever had. Wonderful work SKA!

Poured out a brown and black color, about an inch of tan and orangish head. Aroma, yup, creamsiclish with the usual roasted stout aroma. Pretty straightforward and unique, but most importantly, enjoyable.
Solid consistency & viscosity to the beer, nice and creamy, yet robust enough at the same time. The orange is in just the right proportion to the rest of the stout. Cocao, chocolate malt, orange dreamsicle creaminess. This was pretty easy to figure that I'd like it, as a fan of gran marinier, cointreau, creamsicles, and stouts, pretty much right up my alley.
Cool label, overrated movie, good beer. Another really good bottle brought by koufax21 to the March Madness 2012 party.

good idea, but no. explained to me as this years "DIFF" brew. pours a flat looking dark brown. almost no head, a nitro tap might serve this one well. smells tart like orange peel, and dark roasted malt. flavor is so weird. almost like lemon pledge cleaner, it has a rather inorganic feel to it, artificial in some way. its not sweet orangle like a creamsicle, but bitter orange, like the zest only. also some sweetness like a milk stout. there is a lot going on, but i dont think it quite comes together like it could. feel is okay, but it gets heavy in the gut. definitely not wild about this one, but i appreciate them attempt.
