The Indian PaleĀ® Ale is our most aggressively hopped brew. It is a light golden in color with a very strong hop profile. We dry hop this beer (which is adding hops to the beer after fermentation) for a nice floral aroma. If you like strong, bitter beers, then this is the choice

I had this on tap at The Brewery at Lake Tahoe.

Appearance- cloudy copper color, thin head, nice lacing

Smell- very nice smell of hops

Taste- great flavor of hops, well balanced

Mouthfeel- medium bodied

Drinkability- I thought it was very good. I definitely want to have it again next time I got to South Lake Tahoe. Very good IPA!

A: Orange amber color with a light haze. Poured a 2 finger light tan head that dissipated to an even skim thicker on the edges. Decanted lazily. Laced in wide rings.

S: Floral and fruity hops; mostly citrus and grapefruit. Subdued caramel malt character.

T: Opens with citrus and grapefruit. Slight sweetness; probably from the malt. A little resiny in the middle. Low building bitter in the finish.

M: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A little sticky and resinous. Dry finish with a bitter that builds.

O: I thought a solid IPA. Given the date on past reviews, looks like some changes have been made to the brew for the better. Would not have thought ABV was as high as what was listed on the board; disguised well.

Golden, tan in my tumbler. Head was thin but convincing, more like an authentic coarse foam-scum that left a lot of lacing. Smell was a floral nose, no noticeable malt to speak of, a little creek water (that's a nice clean creek, don't worry).

Taste was decent NW hopping in good quantity - some Cascade?. A good initial burst of floral and citrusy goodness, some pleasant sweetness, then the solid bitterness sets in and remains for a solid resinous finish. Satisfactory! Mouthfeel was very good, a little hop oiliness, some malt stickiness. Altogether a good package. Judging from past reviews, this IPA's recipe has been seriously hopped up, with excellent result.

Drinkability was good, there was a little off-flavor lurking in the background that might have stopped me from wanting 3 or 4, but I would have had another if not for wanting to taste the other offerings.

I love the pizza here, even though it has given me a stomach ache 1 too many times...but hey that's probably because I get every topping available since it's free...oh yeah about the beer.

This is not an IPA!!!! doesn't have anything to qualify it as one, it has hardly any hops, tastes weak (like a homebrew as the other ones do) just has nothing going for it...sorry brewery.

A very traditional and average IPA. Pours a golden amber with a nose that is spicy, floral, and citrusy and a taste that matches the aroma. However the mouthfeel is thin and I was expecting a bitter in the back finish but got very little. The IPA was hoppier than the APA with more backbone for a pale ale. I could have another one of these.

Deep golden hue with a foamy white head. Doesn't last long but laces ok.

Smell is mainly malt with no real hop punch, light citric and flowery esters.

Taste is sweet malt with a light citric hop twinge. No real bitterness at all.

This seems to be more of an APa than an IPA as the hop presence just wasn't there. A drinkable brew but not what I had expected.
