On-tap at The Brewery at Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe, CA
A: The beer is very dark brown in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head. It left a large collar around the edge of the glass as well as lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of chocolate and dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of chocolate flavors with notes of dark malts.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. It feels a bit thin and watery compared to other beers in the style.
O: This porter is very chocolatey. It's a nice choice if you are a chocolate lover.
