I tried this on draft at the brewpub served in a pint chilled
The color is a golden shade with slight haziness-chill haze with white head and fine bead. The smell is mostly malt with some herbal aroma from hop odor and a slight floral quality is present. The feel is smooth with medium high carbonation and balance between hops and malt is good with moderately sweet texture yet low alcohol in feel with dry texture as it finishes.
This bock(?) is more of a helles lager with nice malt up front with bready element and light yeast fruitiness with subtle hop flavor with a slight toast in the back with mild sweetness and herbal hop taste as it finishes mostly dry with a mild bitterness and almost no alcohol in the taste. This is a solid drinkable German style Helles -it is good mix of malts with hop flavor that is not especially true to style but is not out of it good balance with smooth lager characteristics and decent mouthfeel/flavor -I recommend this to fans of light German lager/kolsch
