Appearance: mahogany color, light peeks through with tinting but mosly opaque. Thin head but leaves ample lacing.
Smell: lighter than I would have expected, some raisin bread
taste: plenty of character on the palate - respectable bitterness balanced by plenty of malt. Alcohol a bit noticeable.
Mouthfeel: a big bodied beer, somewhere between chewy and creamy.
Drinkability: moderately drinkable, I'd imagine an excellent winter beer
