On tap at the brewpub.
A: Served an amber color with a decent head that faded to bits of lacing.
S: Aroma of hops, bit of malt sweetness and grain.
T: Taste of citrus with an easy malt sweetness and a bit of grain. Nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish.
F: Medium body, crisp, quite smooth and refreshing.
O: Easy drinker, went well with a rainy afternoon in Auckland.

Yum! Good beer! Served a bit cold for me in a chilled mug with a smallish off white head that fades to an island and ring after a bit and loads of fine lace. Color is a very slightly hazy amber with plenty of bubble trails. Aroma is malt, hop, caramel, toffee, grain, spice. Flavor's much like nose with excellent balance betwixt mild sweetness, just dominant enough hop bitter, and carbonic tang. Body is a bit chewy and carbonation; both are spot on. Finish is like flavor, longish, and leaves me with a yearning for more. Great, fresh pale ale!
