The bottle is clear and has the brand name, Kotayk, on the side in raised letters. The “O” encircling the bust of King Tigran the Great, the monarch of the empire at its height.
It finishes cleanly and pairs well with herbed beef or spiced poultry. Also pairs with herbed or white meat pastas. Best served well chilled.
Light airy head. Very slightly sweet but well buttered and a touch hoppy. As such, a good sandwich beer.

A: Golden colour. Light carbonation.
S: Vague bitter aroma.
T: Lightly bitter. Basically smooth. This beer would go well with spicy food. A refreshing chilled beer for warm climates.
M: Light carbonation but not flat. Medium strength bubbles.
O: This beer is basic. If you enjoy simple beers with low bitterness, Kotayk Gold would be a beer to try.
I am the person who posted the Kotayk Gold photo too.

0.5l transparent ordinary bottle, reminding of the worst samples of the most popular american brews.
Pours clear golden beer with white head, leaving poor laces. Banal smell of dull malts and boring grains. Not very balanced taste, rather sweet, slightly metallic and drastically not bitter. Medium-bodied beer with soft carbonation. That's a fail.
Jun 11, 2017 - Another version 4.7% ABV, 13% Plato.
Green bottle, clear golden beer with thin white head, some laces, smell - grainy, taste - became more balanced , pleasant hop bitterness in the finish.
