A- Body is brown, with noticable crimson highlights. Thin, 3/4 finger head reduces down to a slick of a head. Droplets of lacing, but nothing sticks.
S- Smell is definitely malt forward. Toffee, some caramel, distantly fruity.
T- Toffee, caramel, and a definite plum like presence in the finish. Hop bitterness is low, but is noticable.
M- full, rich body. Finishes somewhat dry with slightly prickly carbonation, which is my main concern with the mouthfeel. Just not quite as smooth as I'd like.
O- This is a solid beer with few complaints from me about it. There is nothing particularly mindblowing about it but that is ok. A simple, flavorful example of the style.
