A- Clear copperish orange. Thick two finger foamy head on this one lasts well and leaves a few rings of lacing.
S- Toffee and caramel, some mustyness to it, and a bit of earthyness. Also picking up some fleeting fresh cut grass aromas.
T- Caramel and toffee up front. There is just a slight buttery flavor in there that might be diacetyl at work but it is very fleeting. finish is a rich earthyness.
M- Medium body. Light but smooth carbonation. Maybe just the slightest touch up in carb would do it well, but can't complain too much.
O- A pretty tasty beer. Could definitely get behind it and have a couple, especially with some food. Even though the styles are different, it isn't altogether different than their Scottish Ale. I'd recommend it.
