on tap at overton.

a: clear yellow, almost bmc like. Not cloudy at all. Thin white head that is quick to subside with little lacing

s: banana and diacetyl, little wheat or belgian characteristics, a touch of funk, not the good brett kind

t: corny, dusty, a hint of wheat, then not much else, belgian yeast dryness at the end.

m: thin, clean crisp, but finishes too quickly. I expect longer flavor profiles from a belgian

o: I'd guess they used a combo of their house yeast and a belgian, this needs more spicing, more wheat, more of everything - it's not as good as shocktop, and yeah... Wouldn't order another.

A- Pours a standard for style pale yellow with a thick white head that lasts well and leaves suggestions of lacing.
S- Smell is really hard to pull out. Some lemon and a bit peppery. Not much on the nose, though I like what's there.
T- Far more peppery than expected from nose. Decently spicy with just a bit of lemon in there as well.
M- Somewhat highly carbonated, which isn't bad. Body is too light, even for style.
O- A decent enough wit. It goes down easy but on the whole it's relatively unremarkable. What's there is pretty good, but I really feel like more body would fix a lot of the issues with this one.

Tap. Pours pale cloudy yellow with a small white head that hangs around for the duration of consumption. Aromas of banana and citrus hop, particularly orange and lemon notes. Flavor of fizzy citrus hop with a crisp yeasty finish. Crisp and refreshing light bodied palate.

Hazy gold draft. Suprisingly little nose...a musty hint of corriander and yeast, but not much here.

Mouthfeel is light and rather refreshing, but lacks delicate feel of the best wit beers.

Flavor - there is nothing off - just not much there. A light watery feel, provides little flavor.

I'm disappointed.
