Poured a jet black with a minimal tan head like most stouts but this one was different. IT WAS GREAT!!! Smelled of cocoa, maybe some coffee beans. Taste much reflected the smell and some roasted malts at the end?? This stout was phenominal, just right and the body was well balanced. GREAT!!!

Wow! I have found the diamond in the Pacific Rim brewing pack of beers. Pours a dark black with hints and hues of brown. The deep dark whipped cream tan head is magnificent and mouth watering. Lacing is impecable, leaving froth on the glass. The smell is of roasted malts and barley, hints of cocoa as well. Taste is strong of espresso and chocolate. Creamy and delicious, the head is so thick it is like extra flavor to the beer. Medium bodied stout and delicious. Whenever you find yourself in Seattle, this is the beer to try. Wow!
