From a bottle: yellow, transparent. Good lacy head. Cereal grain to start, but well hopped and it kicks in quickly. Dry finish. Really excellent pilsner.

Bomber from Michael's in Moses Lake, WA. Everything seems to click from the start, instant grassy aroma and a fizzy, pale golden pour with moderate airy head. Taste continues with more meadow, grassy flavor and finishes with a mild hoppy snap. Tasty and goes down easy.

Poured from 22 oz bottle - it was from 08/15, so maybe not the freshest, but it was still pretty good. Pale yellow in color with a nice frothy head that receded quickly. I don't drink many pilsner beers, but from what I have tried, this one seemed on the more mild side. A faint smell of lemon, grass, and wheat. The flavor is subtle, not strong, but it has a very nice floral burst that emerges after you sip it. Light and refreshing is the mothfeel, not too dry. I liked this beer overall, but only tried it because I was given one. If you are into pilsner beers, I think it would be worth checking out.

22oz bottle dated 07.19.15. Served in a classic pilsner glass. Beer pours straw yellow and bubbly, and forms a substantial white head. Classic Czech Pilsener aroma of Saaz hops. Beer itself is surprisingly spicy -- peppery. The combination of spicy hops and aggressive carbonation dances on my tongue and is really enjoyable. As a way to showcase the classic flavor of Saaz hops in Czech pilsner, this beer is fantastic. But underneath the primary note of peppercorn the middle of the beer is quite creamy and even slightly sweet. That is, maybe more of an American Pilsner hopped in the Czech style. Anyway, it's quite enjoyable and I would not hesitate to pick it up again, even if I might prefer it a bit dryer.

LIght and bright, with a lemony tang. Attractive golden color with adequate foam in the New Belgium snifter. Aromatic hops with that flowery and resiny note. Slightly tangy but not what you'd call crisp.

An easy gulper, though a little lacking in substance. Decent flavor and style for a light beer. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Safeway in Anacortes.
