Copenhagen 2/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from a Giftbox bought in SuperBrugsen. Quite typical Czech label with some heraldic stuff, a shield and a lot of gold.
Pours clear yellow with big white head. Settles as a stable 1 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma of sweet malts with salty hints and a little bitterness. Not very intense but pleasant enough.
Quite strong carbonation and watery palate. Lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more dominant bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is dry.
A quite generic Czech pilsner, which does not mean it’s bad - but that it is rather predictable.
