Copenhagen 26/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Part of a Ferdinand Gift pack with 4 beers. Golden label with shields, crown and other Central European nostalgic paraphernalia.
Pours clear golden yellow with white head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweet pale malts, hint of caramel and metallic alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by quite sharp sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sour and bitter and slightly metallic
Impressively boozy for a beer with an ABV of only 6,5.

It pours a clear, amber body, with visible carbonation. Small white head with poor retention.
It has an aroma of pale malts, dried fruit, raisins, grassy hops and butter.
It starts off sweet with pale malts, fruits and butter, then gradually turns bitter with grassy hops. It has a lingering, bitter aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and creamy, with medium bitterness, average carbonation and medium sweetness.
Bittersweet and strong. Very enjoyable.
