Deep amber color and clear. Tiny bar-poured head but it leaves an impressive blanket of lace throughout the tasting.
Caramel malt aroma followed by a light airy hop spice—not floral, closer to white pepper.
Clean malt with a clear amount of crystal malt giving it a light sweetness. The body leans to the rich while the carbonation is a bit muted. The hop is light even for an APA but it does provide balance in the swallow. Shorter aftertaste. In short, a superior example of an American Pale Ale.
