Everything about this beer says average, however I found it extremely enjoyable. Very easy to drink, although on the whole its not memorable . Delicious but unexciting

Pours two fingers of head on cloudy straw colored body.
The aroma is bright tropical fruits and pine.
The taste starts with moderate to strong bitterness, then tames down with some malt sweetness to balance it out.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Nicely done.

The classic amber brew with a creamy froth in the tall Pilsner glass. There is a haze in the beer, though I don't see any sediment in the bottle. Aromatic hoppy notes that are definitely not the usual citrus and pine. I don't know if fruity is the right word.
Pleasant warm and malty flavor with a hoppy burn. Fairly tangy with an acidic finish along with the bitter murky yeastiness.
This is quite a drinkable Pale Ale. It's not so extra light, but has a pretty good dose of malt along with the bitter hops. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at The Market in Anacortes.
