Northern Lights brews this exclusively for Mootsy's, a downtown Spokane bar that doubles as a venue for local bands, usually with a punkish slant. The tap handle is very cool. It's made to look like a soup can, with the label on the can very reminiscent of a Campbell's can.
This came colored a slightly dark, clear gold color, with a moderate white head that dropped fast. There was a very slight amount of lace on the insides of the glass.
The smell was rather weak. A bit of mildly sweet malt, and that was it. Not offensive smelling, but not much going on, either.
The taste was much like the smell. This is just a mildly sweet malty tasting beer. Not really a bad beer, just pretty bland.
This is rather thin. Not as thin as some macro lagers I've had, but it's definitely a very light bodied amber.
This isn't a beer geek's beer by any stretch of the imagination, but it's an alternative to macro swill if you are planning on hanging around at Mootsy's for a while to watch the bands. It's also rather cheap, at $2.50 per pint.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
